My dearest ____,

I received your sms early today morning and along with it you also sent me a bouquet of beautiful roses! The sms carried with it a mild fragrance of divinity. You know how beautiful roses are! The moment you look at them, one becomes exhilarated. And so was the message, so full of permeating scent of worshiping and remembrance of God!

You know that if the mind is filled with all things that are harmonious, positive, enhancing, pretty and congenial then life becomes so beautiful. Look at the last three letters of the word ‘beautiful’. What does it have?  -Ful.  I always read it as FULL. If you feel beautiful inside, you have the feeling of fullness within. Or if you have a sense of fullness you will see life as very beautiful. Whichever way you like it!

I have always believed that life becomes beautiful if you see the underlying beauty of abstract  everywhere. We say God is subtle. I say life is subtle. We should see and be able to hear its silent speech. Life speaks to us, let’s listen to it, dear. What does it say to us? Is it seeking our attention? Yes, it is. Give attention to the quiet working of the mysterious life.

It wants you to once put your attention on it and then you will be able to get all the hidden meanings and answers.

Some thoughts of felicity captured my mind this morning after your sms arrived. Let’s share them. I thought why don’t we use adversity to our advantage and discover life!

If adversity can be used by us to discover and explore the latent  possibilities lying hidden and unknown to us, then so be it!

Adversity comes in our life as a blessing. It comes to awaken us. If the adverse period is short, it should be used to develop new skills, arts and talents. That is our requirement of the hour.  Qualities like endurance, positive frame of mind, patience, cheerfulness and so on are ideally developed in such a period of life.

If it is long, then for awakening. But, if this period still persists, then this means that we have been given this time frame for a double purpose- that for sadhana as well as for acquiring new skills, talents and new experiences to enrich our lives.

So ask yourself, What is it that I need to know now? What is it that should  be heard? How do I listen to that Voice? What is Life teaching me now? What is stopping me from listening to it? What happens if I don’t give attention and also if I give attention?

If  I wish to use the given opportunities for my all round progress, then I must also have faith that I will be provided the right understanding, the tools and other things required for it to bear. The next step ahead should be taken without preconceived notions, unbiased judgement and openness. The mind should flow freely like the lovely breeze of the monsoon these days-so pleasing, so enchanting!

So let’s move on and climb the flight of advancement, success and cheer!

To wrap up my mail today, let me ask you one useful question.

Where is the beauty of our life hidden?

The beauty of life is hidden in our mind!!

Take your time to ruminate about it and send me your reply when you please.

Have a very joyous and blessed day.

 Yours Sarika.

Others to break records.’ Anonymous.

i like the categorisation of what one should do in short term ,long term and very long term adversity. i never looked at it this way. i think till now, the only way in which i have dealt with adversity has been through developing new skills and that too in a very limited way.

Dear Garima, adverisity is for awakening. Awaken your mind and ask yourself what is it that God is telling me to do? Go deep further inside. You will get to realize that it is only through rough patches of our life that we truly shed our ego and surrender to God. So that is what you should do. Once we shed our ego, our life situations begin to alter. Think more on this.

Adversity is indeed a blessing and does help one develop many qualities over a period of time. If life was a bed of roses it would be so boring and stale. It is only during such low times also that one finds out who one’s Genuine friends are. It helps one go deeper inside and suddenly God becomes a priority in one’s life. So Thank you God for adversity/ problems 🙂

    Sarka Ji,

We have always heard that failures are stepping stone to success but when confronted in reality until unless we have a spiritual back up it is very difficult to make best out of adversity.

Let me share my own story, I came to Jakarta with hope of continuing my dermatology practice, but after many efforts I realised that foreigners are not allowed to practice in Jakarta. I was actually feeling depressed, had I not got the guidance of one of my friend who spent 2-3 hours every day to read Bhagavad Gita with me, I could not have gathered the courage to launch my own website Dermatocare.

Now, I reflect back God has been so kind to me all the times.

    Dear Ma,

You have taught me how have a big mana, not be selfish. Like Babaji, I want to have the biggest desire possible for world change, to devote all my lncarnations to this goal, this is what made him great, the rishis support is inevitable, they will give me so much light energy and not let me fail. Every impurity in me will be overcome.

You have given such a big science to the world of Iccha shakti, that you will be remembered forever, there are so many forces of truth, logic, and gravity. The rishis have possibly done research to find out that the strongest force has to be desire, the basis of life. When I see people argue too, have seen that logic and truth lose to iccha anyday.

We should live simply with lion like self control, pay of the debts to family, neighbourhood, increasing the influence to even the devas. Pay our debts for what we have taken and give more, so that even gravity cannot pull us to earth. The only way to live life too, is to do so much for people they become indebted to you, don’t try to love them, make them love life.

I enjoy summarising your work, and meditating on your teachings, sometimes I feel this blog is a devi or a very high vidya, I have just got it by accident. I wonder how lucky I am, that my path met yours.

Till now in life, I have done nothing valuable, failed in everything I have tried, been in depression and denial, never thought big and was selfish. You have given us so many lessons, I feel like I have understood to some extent the purpose, but now how do I implement it? Despite knowing all this I lack courage and guts. After knowing this vidya from you, If I still think small, weak and don’t work hard, what a waste it would be. You are my inspiration to live.

My dear child Kunal, delighted to read your comments. It is true that ichcha is possibly the highest force in the world, next is sankalpa shakti, thought power. Unless we initiate something, we will not be able to manifest anything positive for ourselves. God has given us the freedom to use this latent power, or be indifferent to it or simply ignore the fact out of mental lethargy.

One must experiment with what I am saying, only then they will truly know the immensity of my words. One can try this principle’s application when one is ill. When we generate a will power to become healthy and well again quickly, we actually derive the regenerative powers lying somewhere in the Universe and become well again at a full speed. Medicines are just supporting aids or help. They too work better if we apply the inherent power of will or ichcha to resurrect ourselves.

Regarding you not being successful in life until now, it is alright. All is not lost. You can now use your present adversity to initiate the will power lying dormant inside your mana, and trigger other powers of very positive, pleasant and constructive thoughts. Along with this, do complementary actions which will fructify your future constructive plans.

You must be good in your profession and enjoy doing what you have chosen to do all your life.
If you are happy and successful, you will be able to do a lot of social service in whichever area you choose to be or participate. You will be able to give support, love, understanding, money, joy and care to your family if you are complete and have a holistic view about the world, yourself and others.

Yes, this blog is truly divine and you have come to me because of your own good deeds. You must repay by becoming an all rounder, lead a wholesome life and be successful in all your endeavours- personal, professional, social and familial.

      God bless you always.
      Yours Ma

@ Kunal elaborating on your previous comment-

‘Manas’ was a word which was close to ‘maanush’ or human being and ‘maanush’ stood out from animals and inanimate things.

First comes the vibration or ‘tarang’ in manas, through very small and through very fine nerves, the vibration is transported to a specific part of the brain.

The brain is like a machine which responds to commands or orders from yet another source or else who can make your brain function?

The ‘mana; first decides by its will power that it wants to do a particular action and wants to get it translated into reality in physical world from abstract.

The brain and the rest of the body get electric currents to start up and the parts of the brain from specific quarters are ready to answer!”
