Thanksgiving and gratitude towards my beloved, most venerated, holy and Divine Guru

How many of us believe what was once our strongest desire will be fulfilled one day by merciful God?

And if you think you are that somebody who has faith and conviction in what I just said, then I can assure you that your sacred beliefs will also be supported and rewarded by the omnipresent, all pervading silent God someday. God waits silently till eternity for us to come up with some powerful, dynamic and selfless thoughts so that they can be materialized on the physical plane at the appropriate time and season. God is a silent observer, a seer, a spectator and non -doer of any action yet He will always respond to our innermost consecrated desires.

Our mind or manas is everything. If we harbour holy, unselfish thoughts and preserve them long enough, cherish them day and night, never forget what we had desired is imminent to occur and unfold one day. It is true when all the important decisions taken on our spiritual path without ego will bear fruit and blossom with the grace of God. If the devotee’s desires are born out of pure love and thankfulness, then God shall concede and be appeased with His children.

We have no idea or any notion at all as to how indebted we become to our blessed Masters who remove us from the forbidden path and reinstate us progressively with time little by little on the path of purity, love and benevolence-that is the path of God. If you have comprehended what I am trying to get at, then you shall be able to grasp when I tell you that since the past more than nine years or so, I have been constantly musing, dreaming, brooding, ruminating, contemplating and uninterruptedly reinforcing my desire very staunchly to meet Shri Mahavatar Babaji in person in the Himalayas because I want to touch His Lotus Feet as a gesture of profound gratitude for everything that He has done for me since I can reminisce.  I am so very deeply indebted to Him, my heart at all times tells me and my soul confirms that.

My desire emerged and arose like a thick unflagging, undeviating, shiny flame of a lamp since the time I discovered in 2002 in meditation that I have known revered Babaji even before this birth; indeed it has been a very long journey!  When I was born this time, he held me gently in his hands in the hospital with tears rolling down from his eyes on his face.  I saw him sobbing agonizingly when he said to me, “My daughter (beti) why did you plead vehemently with stubbornness to God before you were born to give you salvation in this life. It was due after four incarnations. This life of yours   is bound to be extremely difficult and challenging, how will you bear the heavy load of all your karmas my child?”

Whenever I recall and open this section of my memory, each time my heart swells up with soft, sentimental tears of thankfulness and gratitude. Who can love you so much? So, so much…..? Isn’t this love weighed down with an ocean of compassion? I wonder if I have ever been loved so much in the most unselfish manner  by anyone before, not at least by ordinary human beings. My heart chokes with helplessness because I know I cannot ever return such celestial love in any measure to him; I am too small.   I still don’t know what I can do for our Babaji as he is an embodiment of highest altruistic love for his children. I can only reciprocate in a manner that a true and sincere aspirant and a devotee does. Hence, I decided to meet him in person so that I could tell him that although he has been speaking to me on the cosmological plane via mental communication with telepathy and intuition; and that I have been thanking him all the time, still I want to tell him personally on the physical plane how much I owe him for what he has made me today. I plainly and simply want to thank him and express my gratitude myself by touching his sacred feet once at least in this life!!

Somewhere around this time God has heard me and the mere desire converted into a feverish passion.

In May of 2005, I made an unsuccessful trip to Badrinath.  I had read from “Autobiography of a Yogi’ and from somewhere else also when I came to Mumbai that his abode was in the Himalayas near Badrinath in the caves and so I set out to search him randomly. It was there on the overwhelming glaciers and awesome mountains when I was trekking with fake and untrained  guides and weak porters that I realized that I was totally unfit and unprepared in every sense  to meet Mahavatar Babaji in person. It was just not possible. I returned home completely heartbroken yet I did not let my dream die off in vain, it was still simmering and alive.

If I had to fulfil my dream which God had granted, I had to be physically fit and mentally rock-solid. So I began to rebuild my body with rigorous physical exercises and began to meditate every day with devotion and love. I went to many pilgrimages in these years which were arduous. I gave up all the activities which were not in line with my mission and whenever I found it difficult to steer clear the impediments, physical or mental whatever they were, I reminded myself that if I want to see Mahavatar Babaji one day, I should stand all this with a smile. When I have walked on the treadmill and the body revolted, I have imagined myself that I am trekking in the Himalayas so that I can reach the abode of my Babaji.

I was most hesitant to share my exclusive spiritual experiences yet I accepted Babaji’s wish as a Grace and blessing from him when he asked me to start a blog and have a space of my own in the web world….. More lessons and divine perceptions were imparted to me by my Great Gurus like Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Nityananda and Swami Dayananda Shaligram of Ganeshpuri, Divine Mother and Sri Aurobindo of Pondicherry and so many more teachers. Babaji sent me to them to be tutored and trained either in their Ashrams or to their holy places or they appeared in my mental space during meditations. So I began to blog taking his command as his ashirwad a blessing, yet having no clue what I can write for the world. I was totally overwhelmed in the first two years or so by the internet’s far flung connectivity and reach and felt abashed exploring and sharing my inner, very reticent spiritual world through my posts which arrived regularly without any long breaks each more direct and revealing than the previous. Prior to this, I had bare minimal knowledge of computer usage, nonetheless I would spend some thirty to sixty minutes every day to get a hang of this modern  technology. I admired myself for the first time for the fact that although I may be a late bloomer, at least I had arrived!!! I took my blog writing as a discipline and sadhana given by my Master so that one day, I could meet him, speak to him and ask him to bless me by putting his divine hand over my shoulder and head if I deserved it and have earned it !!!

I have learnt photography for him. I had never taken any photos before I went to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2010 because others in the family were taking mine all the time. I went there alone without any family member and joined a troupe. The pilgrimage was undertaken believing that I will someday  go to Badrinath cave where Babaji lives even today. It took me two years to be confident of taking photographs seriously with an advanced camera. I think the blog has got more interesting since more pictures began to be uploaded. Blogging, travelling and photography are going on side by side now thus improving my artistic skills and satisfying my creative urges.

What is it so special about this pilgrimage?

All the devotees who are worshipping  Shri Mahavatar Babaji, the greatest of all gurus, do not have a picture of him as he is very reclusive. It was only in the ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ that Shri Paramhansa Yogananda displayed a sketch made by his brother Sananda Ghosh, who was an artist (Read Mejda authored by him) This is the only authentic sketch or drawing we have of Babaji which we are worshipping today.

I pray to God humbly that Babaji should allow us to have a real picture of his so that we can worship him in his real form.

I had mentioned in ‘The state of Super Consciousness-II’ that Shri Mahavatar Babaji will appear in public life in the year 2053 in the World Congress of Religions. This blog and his real  photo will stand a testimony to his true identity at that time. His worldwide mission will go on, whatever I am doing is not even a tiny drop  in the ocean but I take my sadhana of blogging,  meditation and guiding others who wish to be advised or instructed  as my service and a token of gratitude to my Param Pujya Param Guru Shri Mahavatar Babaji.

Babaji’s main mission as I have mentioned a couple of times earlier, is to change the time cycle- from Kaliyug to Satya Yug, from the Age of modernity to the Age of Truth. A new race, a new human mind and a new approach to the age old problems of humanity needs to be undertaken. Keeping these aims in mind, he asked me to write on subjects that dealt with reincarnation, death and how should we  die and reborn. If more and more young expectant parents invoke divine souls and if they lead a morally high and a pious life, then the wheel of time from bad to good should be much easier for the human race.

I humbly request those readers who have been quietly reading this blog from time to time and have not yet made their commitment towards Babaji or me, they should  at least express their thankfulness to  Shri Mahavatarji  so that they do not transgress the God laid norms and rules and suffer in future in many ways.

Spiritinlife blog is not mine; it was initiated by Mahavatar Babaji and has the inspirations, contributions and spiritual wealth of many, many other sages, seers, saints and illumined souls. Please do not understate or underestimate this fact  when I tell you that you are indebted to this blog and all the other higher divine souls for the reason that they have worked on me day and night without a single day and have prepared me for the day when I could be ready for the biggest event of my life- to meet Mahavatar Babaji face to face. They all have groomed me, coached me and have given me a new mind in a new body!!! The blog has become a conduit between them and you. They all deserve your worshipping, adoration, love, goodwill and devotion.

Certainly if someone benefits  tremendously then that person should express and show gratitude by humility, service and thanksgiving in various  ways.

This is a timely advice to all those devotees and aspirants who wish to come across stimulating and inspiring spiritual experiences ahead in future. However, you may act as per your own judgement and individual understanding and the freedom to think and act is yours. Had it not been for the advice given by my revered Master, I would never have made you know even this. It is a difficult job to instruct, teach someone the basics of spiritual education or to change one’s destiny by mutely decoding the spiritual laws and by peeping into their past lives without the disciple’s knowledge at all. But all the good things are possible  provided the disciple yearns for it and obeys the guidelines and directives with reverence and faith given by the spiritual teachers.

And please, also know that if you fail to obey those imparted divine instructions within the stipulated time period, you shall lose out the auspicious and favourable time of your destiny when you shall gain the most. Therefore, be on guard  and abide by the teachings, orders and directives sent out either by your mentor or your Guru, you shall succeed in every endeavour of yours on the spiritual path and someday have Self Realization and your  soul will be one with the Divine.

Dear readers, I have now lost count of the visits that I have made to the numerous ancient as well recent holy sites in India which were at the behest and direction of my gurus since I was initiated by them in the year 2001 officially. My visits and travelling to the ancient heritage sites starting from Kanhangad in Kerala in Nov 2011 to the last one in March to Khajuraho was planned by them with the idea of giving me total confidence in photography and blogging and making me proficient in these two areas for the biggest event.   And to acclimatize myself and make good arrangements for my visit to Satopanth where Babaji’s caves are located, I visited Shri Badrinath temple and Mana village in the Himalayas in May recently. And as I was travelling, I was blogging as well as shooting pictures. And now the time has come for all these trips to get me ready to meet Babaji in person.

It was on 15^th Aug 2008 when I was remembering Sri Aurobindo on his birth anniversary during meditation to bless me when he responded in a rare opportunity. He very explicitly advised me. “Have nerves of steel if you want to realize God.  You will visit the abode of Shri Babaji at the exact time and on 15^th August after just a few years you will meet him  in person.” I was quite perplexed when I heard him say this to me because sometimes I would feel that each year is just passing by and Babaji is not calling me yet. Will it really happen? Are my body and mind not yet fit enough? Will they ever become strong enough to brave the strong winds, rough  weather and living in auterity with very basic facilities found in the terrains of the mountains in Himalayas?

15^th Aug is a special day for India. It is her Independence day. Sri Aurobindo who was earlier a freedom fighter and then became a spiritual giant, was also born on this day. And the blessing that he has given me four years ago is about to become a reality when on 15^th August 2012, I shall at last be in the holy company of Shri Mahavatar Babaji in his cave with the band of all his disciples and Shri Mataji, his divine younger sister.

So all my dear ones, I have shared this piece of information with all of you because it is the will of God that all the disciples, followers and devotees of Shri Babaji  who are seeking his spiritual counsel, love, light, divine essence and blessings should think of him fervently and dedicate that day in his honour and pay homage to him in every possible manner. Put your mind on him throughout that day, pray to him, chant his name, meditate on his holy figure and wherever you are, seek his divine love and bliss. Ask for forgiveness, ask for transformation of your nature, ask for love, kindness and compassion and ask for salvation of your soul from the cycle of unending life and death. Pray to him that you become a channel in his worldwide global mission, ask him to give you the moral and spiritual strength for doing penance to uplift your soul for higher divine consciousness and ask for mercy for all your wrongdoings.

Some of you should plead that he accepts your request to spread his teachings and many of you should request him to use your body, mind and resources to make our planet green.

Those of you who are about to start a family of their own may request him to send you pure souls as your children so that you can do their seva first and in the long run, those pure souls may serve Mother Earth, Gurus and God in manifolds. All the posts that I have written regarding raising our ordinary consciousness to Super Consciousness should be implemented in our lives in some or the other way. By serving our planet, we will be serving God and our Gurus. As I have mentioned several times in my posts what our dearest Babaji insists that the best way to serve God is to serve his children. God is most pleased with us when we serve our fellow brothers unselfishly and dedicate all our karmas at the altar of God.

Friends, I wish to now wrap up my post with a silent prayer at the twilight hour when my room is afloat with the enchanting smell of jasmine essence and  delightful lamp that may God and my Gurus bless you all as they have blessed me so profusely! May they always light up your spiritual path as they have done mine and may they fill your lap with countless blessings and sacred ancient spiritual teachings and insights as they have bestowed upon me so graciously !  And may your mind be sparked with brilliant rays of divine illumination with the grace of Supreme Thee!!

Footnote.– A Meditation technique

Only today morning, that is on 10th July early morning, Shri Babaji asked me to meditate with this technique which gave me tremendous energy and a wide opening in the astral skies of the mind. He also directed me that I should inform everyone that on the coming 15th Aug at 7 a. m, we should meditate in this method and do collective meditation.

• Sit in a comfortable position after making your body and mind calm.
• Close your eyes very gently.
• Inhale and exhale deeply till you feel your breath has calmed down.
• Focus your attention at the third eye by bringing your gaze gently to the point between the eyebrows.
• Keep your consciousness steady there.
• Imagine a picture of Shri Babaji at this place. Concentrate on it.
• Some may see blazing light either before or after the image of Shri Babaji, concentrate on it. One may also hear or see Om, the first sound created by the Divine . Absorb that.
• Feel that divine light permeating within you, around you.
• After some time, revolve and move this light over your spine as many times as you are comfortable with thus recharging yourself by cleansing your mind and body.
• And finally bring back this light at the point between your eye brows or kutastha.

• Relax completely and sit in this posture as long as you like.

• Practise this meditation daily with reverence and love.

It has been quite some days since I sat down peacefully and talked to God. The house needed repairs and I got fully involved in it and this post has got delayed. Nevertheless, in spite of hyperactivity and the house still not functional, at the back of my mind I have been murmuring to God and in return the response has come in whispers. So even though I could not meditate, the communion was lingering and I have been waiting anxiously like a child to take my next lesson on topics that concern me, my present life and the next life yet to come. I have been extremely fascinated since my youth to know how one is born, on what basis does one get a new birth and how did I feel when I was in an embryonic state and a lot more apart from this. Basically, I was very curious to find what about how the state of consciousness of a soul affects his/her quality and type of new life about to come in due course of time. How is one reborn? Do we remember something in the womb? Do we have control over our state of mind in the womb irrespective of negative external environment? Can we control our state of mind by being completely unaffected by mother’s negative mental qualities?

Many of these questions have been answered earlier and some of them have got answered in moments of tranquillity while I am getting the house done. It has been my heartfelt desire to remain awake in every reincarnation in the mother’s womb as I understand that if my consciousness is high during that time and infancy, I shall get a head start at the outset. Never again do I want to sleep in ignorance no matter when or where I am reborn. Spiritual awakening so difficult to attain cannot be disregarded at any cost. It is inestimable wealth that I have earned with great difficulty by leading an arduous life that I wish to carry  forward with me in my next life.

This post is quite different in approach than the rest because it is for me, just for me. This lesson has come for me and I shall read it again whenever I wish to go back to it. I can recall my lessons from this diary so that I can rewind essential chapters and lessons of my spiritual awakening whenever I need to in times to come.

I have learnt that-

_We are reborn in a state of mind that we died in!

_Reborn is not the time of birth when one is free of mother’s body and becomes independent.

_It is that time when the soul comes from the astral plane and enters like a light in the collusion of both the partners. The lower the state of mind, the faster the speed and urgency to come back to Earth. If the dying state has been of great calamity, hatred, repulsion, extreme greed, hunger to taste the smacks or tastes of the worldly sensual things, the faster the urgency to return at lightning speed. While the awakened will wait till it is right to return and only if the Lord wants it!

_Our past karmas decide how well our stay in the mother’s womb will be! The better the karmas done earlier, the more pleasant the stay!

_Our mind will do exactly what we did when we were alive in previous birth no matter how small the physical frame or age is because it is the mind or manas that is reincarnated. The dimmer the mind, the dimmer the light that one carries before birth and has during the tenure in the womb.

_The state of mind of the soul in the womb is solely depended on the actions performed before one’s death. The soul’s state of mind at the time of death is what one has done during one’s life time, except in rare cases of unexpected or violent deaths. So there is a continuity of series of circumstances created by oneself in one’s life that will help him or her to have a good stay in next life in the womb. Our every action and thought is important and is accountable to frame our next birth.

_The souls who have had led a peaceful, pious and meaningful worthy lives will have a flourishing, peaceful, joyful stay in the mother’s womb and those who led wicked or unmeritorious lives will not be blessed with peaceful existence even before they come in the physical world.

_Our sanskaras or hidden tendencies in the unconscious mind shape to a large extent the physical contour, fitness, mental makeup, intelligence and grade of our personality. Sansakaras or deeply buried tendencies are past actions’ seeds and imprints of actions. They are the building blocks of our new birth.

_We mostly remember the very unpleasant and pleasant circumstances, ; more so if they occurred just before death. Memory of the rest is hazy

_Yet everything is not depended entirely on the past deeds. If we pray to God, meditate on the Almighty Force in the developing state, our future course of life can be altered to a large extent and moulded in  positive and forceful ways. Some good souls plead, pray, chant or thank God and their future course of life gets re-worked for the right path and direction with the grace of God.

_All this possible if we lead our current life sacredly dedicated to a noble cause. Purity of thoughts, deeds and words should be followed earnestly until a day comes when communion with God never breaks or fails. This translates as that there will be a continuity of peaceful and joyful existence no matter where we stay, what the external conditions are if we continue to lead a highly spiritual and devout life in true sense now.

Auli just happened!

It was not in the itinerary at all. Interaction with the locals, taxi drivers, acclimatizing to sudden temperature differences, change in food, bedding etc began to take its toll in the form of stress and fatigue as the trip to Shri Badrinath began to roll out. So to beat the mental fatigue, it was decided by me that I and my spouse will go to Auli, just 18kms away from Joshimath for a break. In fact, I wanted him to take the ropeway from Joshimath to Auli as I had done three years back to enjoy the diverse and new type of experience. Though it was shut down due to maintenance work, it was a blessing in disguise because this unforgettable experience came as a boon to both of us.

In fact, Auli was far, far more enriching and inspirational than I had imagined because when I went to Auli by road on 10^th May morning instead of the rope way, I got to see God’s nature without any hindrances. I saw everything through my eyes and fingers and not through the glass doors of the rope way as before. Never have I soaked in nature so passionately with all my senses in full usage, nor have I tried to deposit each breath taking moment so avidly in my memory before!!

Auli is a perfect heaven for tourists, for skiing and of course for resting; complete resting and rejuvenation of our mind. Just after 20 minutes or so after we left, my eyes were dancing with joy when we began our journey because of such breath taking scenic beauties in the white  mountains with the blue sky and white fluffy clouds floating as the background. The soft blue colour of sky was reflecting on the white snow covered mountains making them look so innocent and pure because of the cloud’s blue tint over them. Oh! What calming effects on my senses and  mind.

The belt of 3 to 4 kilometres of green  forest with thick foliage of Deodar, Oaks, Pine, Conifers and so many other varieties took me to Paradise. There was a sudden spurt of energy in my brain because of so much oxygen in the atmosphere and the moment we left the main city Joshimath, the singing and twittering of hordes of birds all along made my heart flutter and hop with seamless joy. Neither have I heard so many birds singing nor ever heard their joyous singing for such prolonged period. Their chorus amidst silence of the forest was a sweet symphony to my soul and as I passed through the forest, I wished  that  it should  never stop….

While returning my heart soared with ecstasy when our driver, who was a quiet man found a baby maple tree. Sensing my love for nature, he stopped the taxi to show me Chinar or Maple leaves and young trees. I tried extremely hard to recall if I had ever seen this beautiful, nascent, shiny leaf apart from seeing them on the internet and in glossy books. All I could remember  was that maybe I have seen them as dried, fallen dusty leaves in Kashmir when I went there at the age of 11 or 12; it is quite forgotten. Such was its magical  effect by its touch on my palm that I wanted to bring them home, grow them near my home and make them mine!

The forest area comes mid -way, before we actually reach the skiing or car rope way. Except for a foreigner couple who was walking down, there was nobody.  I got my answer-as people were not living around this place, the trees managed to survive and grow into adults. The driver told me, who belonged from nearby Chamoli that he has seen Chinar after so many years. They don’t get to see them anymore…..

I saw the kind gesture of my Guru Shri Babaji who hinted silently not to miss Auli the previous evening. I truly felt blessed and invoked God throughout out of gratitude because I got to see virgin forest and nature in noiseless state and compacted with only beauty, silence and joy gifted by God without denomination which is unknown to us !! My soul found so much peace in the still atmosphere and my mind became very tranquil all of a sudden. All the way, I was connected to God through stillness, harmony, peace and serenity….

As a token of  thanksgiving, a pink rose from Auli hills for you my benevolent Shri Mahavatar Babaji….thank you for everything that you do for me.

My dear readers, as the Himalayas beckon me, I am now quite impatient to leave this bubbling and bursting city as soon as possible. I can’t wait anymore as I am awfully eager to roam freely in the mountains; my spirit longs to float without restrictions in the open cosmos of Himalayas and I am waiting to touch gently the stillness of the quiet, spiritual nights near Alaknanda river which flows softly near Badrinath shrine. My mind experiences vastness under the clean, boundless sky there and the state of timelessness comes quite naturally during such sojourns. In fact, I have visited this place a couple of times earlier but the excitement is  exceeding and overtaking me this time more than before as I know for sure that the ashram, the abode of my sacred Param Guru, His Holiness Shri Mahavatar Bababji is near Badrinath!

While I am still under the tutelage and constant guidance of His Holiness, let me keep you informed that he continues to impart great volume of hidden mysteries in unlimited proportions even to this day due to his bigheartedness.  So before leaving, I am feeling an urge to pen down a few articles on that portion of the mystic knowledge which has been imparted to me by him many years ago, in 2001 to be precise for you. Although I have been meeting him at the mental level through intuition and clairvoyance since the past eight years or so and have been deriving tremendous volume of spiritual as well as occult science enlightenment, I am palpably restless to greet him some time personally on physical plane. It will hence enable me to outpour my wholehearted thankfulness and gratitude at his sacred lotus feet for his continous avalanche of kindness and generosity over me!

I have undergone some thrilling paranormal and psychic experiences during and after childhood which went unnoticed and unregistered in my personal life. As it normally happens, I did not tell anybody because I myself did not recognize their importance and relevance in my personal or spiritual life. Drawing upon those childhood experiences and helping me connect to them as a consequence, Babaji helped me revive unexplored parts of my psychic brain and spiritual memory when I was initiated by him through shaktipaath or transference of divine forces through mind power from a far distance in 2001. Babaji stirred up my recollections and past impressions and gave me some extremely electrifying super natural experiences of highest astral plane in the month of Sept/Oct  during a couple of nights without any interruption. With electrifying speed I was being transported to the last plane of the astral world where I came in direct contact with Swami Shri Yukteshwarji and some other meditating yogis in divine bliss or ananda. It was only at a later stage when I discovered about the life and contribution of Swami Shri Yukteshwarji and some other divine beings of the spiritual world. 

By recalling my past occult experiences and today’s given intuitive knowledge, I submit this mystifying article for all of us to read and ponder. These articles on paranormal subjects are not merely to discuss or get excited about, on the contrary they are to provoke our thoughts and enforce us to contemplate because they concern us. They concern our future and they concern our quality of life now and the life after……

So what happens after we die?

When death approaches, the desire to live in a body becomes frail and the desire to pass on to the next world begins to overcome the soul. It all depends on the consciousness of each soul, depending on the quality of its desire where it wishes to embark on the astral journey.

Just before death, all the body systems begin to shut off one by one. The nervous system is the last one to stop functioning.  At the moment of dying the individual begins to see a movie of his/her life in a snapshot. He recalls the most pleasant memories and the most bitter experiences in a flash. The body disintegrates while the jeeva or manas lives on and the jeeva overviews distinctly the departed physical plane or the Earth with longing and remorse. Seeing one’s physical body lying dead or disintegrated makes him wonder why should he leave it anyway? It takes some time for the soul to come to terms with the reality of separation of the body from the mind or manas.

Each person has his own acquired state of spiritual consciousness. Majority or masses have low level of understanding of spirit and more of material. If the state of consciousness of an individual is pure and benign, it will quickly leave the earth surface and travel with a dizzying speed upwards. People with low morality and basal qualities remain stuck even for days to their belongings as well as one’s physical self. Their travel time upwards is also sluggish because of reluctance to leave the Earth level.

At the time of death the departed relatives, friends and loved ones  come to recieve and take with them the person who has just died. The dead person is delighted to meet the lost friends and old relatives. After this the soul meets God in some form or the other where God shows him/her all the account of his deeds and we are asked to give an explanation as to why we did not do more of shiny deeds. Like a judge, God in the end asks us if what He has said  is correct, the soul has to agree. Weighing all the negative and positive deeds, a place in the astral world is assigned by God to all of us with all fairness. We  are sent to a place or realm of hell or heaven in accordance to our deeds perfomed on Earth.

The higher souls are attended by and taken to higher regions by their guru after the body is discarded happily by the disciple so that they can continue to do their spiritual practice even there while the very bad ones who even refuse to leave the dead body are forcibly drawn up and separated.

Once the body and soul are separated, the upward journey begins, each one moving up depending on their speed for which their accumulated karmas are responsible. Sometimes, this is termed as ‘sadgati’ in Hinduism which means –sad means truth or good and gati means force or speed!

There are seven levels or regions above the Earth. The first three are lower regions, the fourth level the mid way and the last three are upper superior regions.

Maximum people go rushing up to the first three levels only. They are debarred from moving higher up other than the three lower levels. At their entrance they meet a rugged, awful, scary  looking man appointed by God called Yamaraj or death deity in Hindu scriptures. As those people have done obnoxious karmas, they are met with dreadful and unpleasant looking guard before they enter their abode of supposed rest after their death. The teeming people here are quarrelsome, immoral, lustful, boastful and full of evil, hence no pleasant greeting at arrival. These people continue with their bad behaviour here too and refuse to transform. At their arrival they are asked by the Deity of Hell to give account of their bad deeds and are asked to reform themselves but to little avail. So they all suffer here again mentally like on Earth even though there is no physical body.  There is no redemption because they refuse to believe in God, devotion, humility, forgiveness and other divine qualities. There is complete cacophony, chaos down there because of disharmonious thoughts of restless souls residing there.  However, each individual is again asked to plead for forgiveness so that their heart changes, but just a few try to reform themselves. Unfortunately, such souls repeatedly visit these low regions because they live a life full of low tendencies life after life without bringing any positive change in their damned personality.

 Individuals who have done partly good deeds and partly bad deeds belong to the fourth door or gate. This region is the place of transformation and people who come here are usually more receptive towards repentance and redemption. Their morality is little higher than those below and they are given new chances to revive their lost glory and divinity. The astral world is a place of rest and redemption created by God for all the humans so that the journey thenceforth into the new world or reincarnation through the body becomes more pious and sacred. Most of the human souls do not wish to qualify for the highest three realms because that would require them to have done ample virtuous deeds in the Earth life by performing abundant sacred karmas through tapasya and spiritual practices. Hence the more one moves upwards in the astral world, the more free space one floats easily in!

Now the fifth, sixth and seven planes are the abodes of pious souls like saints, yogis, social reformers, great musicians and artists, philanthropists, scientists, alchemists and even healers.

Depending on their spiritual progress, they are assigned a berth whereby they continue to do their good work mentally and intuitively. The enlightened beings love to meditate and worship God in various ways and methods thereby adding to their good deeds. These souls help each other happily without any sense of rivalry as they had already overcome this bad tendency in the Earth life. The fifth and sixth level individuals redeem, transform and refine their souls while the highest realm people only refine their souls by further advancing on their divine path.

The souls in the lower regions are not allowed to travel to higher regions but the beings on the higher levels can scoop down. And that happens only if God wishes them to go and help and attend a distress call from one of them! As soon as the job is done, the revivalist soul speedily comes back to its safe zone so that his soul does not get stained by any ugly thought or deed of the bad souls thriving at the low level! Prevention, they say is better than cure!

In the seventh astral plane, the atmosphere is of tranquility, silence and ananda. Souls or Mahatmas living there are in need of no more redemption as they are free of any dross or sin. They are always one and united with the Heavenly Father and have crossed over from the maya or the deluding force of duality. It is world of light and the souls can hear beautiful divine music in their astral ears as they move around in that blessed space in joy and cheer! The beings here bless, pray for all living on Earth and elsewhere and ask God to spread peace everywhere-in all universe, in everyone’s hearts.

They experience divinity in every moment and have no desire to return to Earth unless a request is made by God for helping mankind in spiritual matters. As soon as their work is over on the earth plane, they return to their divine realm to enjoy uninterrupted ananda which is not possible on the Earth because of human interjections and disturbances.

Those souls travel from one point to another only through the passage of light in the seventh sky or realm. One hears the other through the language of only heart or soul which goes  to say  that the sensory perceptions at this level and plane are extremely subtle and it is the  mind or manas which senses and feels the other divine being there.  Hence there is no scope of misunderstanding between any of them. Everyone wishes to help each other in furthering their higher spiritual and divine goals and they derive exceptional happiness in doing so.

When someone from Earth connects his/her mind with a soul at this level it is only through intuition that he/ she is connected with because the medium  of  instruction and communication is the very fine and refined cosmic energy called the intuitive rays emanating from the astral region and received by the third eye on the Earth called the divine eye or divya drishti.

My friends, you must have found this piece of enlightening information startling. These articles must awaken us so that we reform our present life now here on Earth and even after we die. As life is continuous and reincarnation is inevitable, it is our duty to enrich our souls so that we live and flourish in harmony, love, peace and joy wherever we are – On earth and in Heaven….

Welcome back dear readers, there has been no addition as a new post from my side since 21.03.12 and I guess some of you were eagerly waiting for me to say something during this time. Well, as you know I took an extensive tour of many heritage and spiritual sites of India in the last five months and I needed to rest and rejuvenate myself after that. I enjoyed this break and have savoured nature; I experienced with joy the melodious chirping and singing of sweet birds on tender branches and smelled mild yet intoxicating fragrant flowers on large blooming trees on wide roads and lush gardens while I was in Delhi during this break. I let myself free of any compulsion or impulse and have allowed myself to let time flow until any inspiration flowed in me and there was something really worthwhile to narrate in words.

Please note that I am still to make yet another pilgrimages to the Himalayas and beyond in the coming few months. From this time on therefore, I am preoccupied with its preparation like physical fitness, overhauling the body, supply of good nutrition, and generating good mental stamina because  I shall also meditate in my room at night and if God wills may be in some caves carved out by yogis in those snowy mountains in the Himalayas!  And so I shall be writing sporadically unlike the pattern of fixed dates that I was following so far.

Segment D called the ‘Our lost rich heritage’ has been divided at this juncture in two parts-Part I and Part II. Part I dealt with topics concerned with our past rich heritage and my own spiritual experiences after I visited some of them.

Part II will deal with occult science and topics like reincarnation, death and dying, life after death and beyond and related subjects. Though these entries are going to be intermittent, yet they shall be very fascinating for both you and me. For me it shall be very exciting because no matter how much I have been bestowed with this knowledge by my revered holy Gurus, I am forever restless to know and experience further more because of this never ending search and boundless thirst of mine.

Those of who are following this blog will understand it well when I say that in my meditation so many times great spiritual and divine beings like Agastya Maharishi, Shri Aurobindo, Divine Mother of Pondicherry, Paramhansa Yoganada, Swami Nityananda and some others have appeared and disseminated unknown truths and spiritual facts to me which I have absorbed internally. In quite a few posts there are references about them though in a subdued way.I have not mentioned about all this   in a very explicit way  prior to this because of a valid reason.

God, who is hidden from the eyes of all its creatures and never ever wishes to tell us that He himself is the doer, the reason of our existence and the cause of this Universe. Similarly, so many divine and holy beings in the celestial beings who are forever working to make this universe loving and beautiful are unknown and unidentified by us. Knowing and realizing this fact silences my mind completely and creates a sense of littleness in my heart because one’s identity crumbles and disintegrates when one realizes that it is not I  but God, who is the provider, the preserver and giver of everything to each one of us.

During similar tranquil moments as I was gazing in the unknown recently, I got an opportunity to come in contact with Annie Besant- the reformer, revivalist, and  active member of  The Theosophical Society. She promised me that she will help me in writing my articles on occult Science on the blog. Obviously I was so delighted and thanked her with my grateful heart .  Now please know that the future articles are bound to be full of substantial knowledge of the unseen and unknown worlds. Prior to this incident also, I have had the good blessing of receiving vital information on occultism on a number of occasions, particularly  when I was staying in Pondicherry.

Some years back, may be around 1999, someone gave me an old preserved book on Occult Science by Annie Besant. I devoured the book and also experienced many things written in it and automatically began believing that indeed there were fairies, elves and gentle beings and the evil entities alongside in the surrounding atmosphere.

Today I have shared this piece of information with everybody because I want you to thank all the blessed and sacred Masters and teachers who are constantly working day and night salvaging souls, teaching and guiding the elevated souls without their knowledge of this fact thus making one’s spiritual journey enriched and easy. How can we not bow down mentally in heart and soul at their sacred feet ? It is because of them that we are much  closer to God today  because  God’s nature  is very secretive!

Knowing the nature of God is impossible without the constant assistance and grace of all the realized masters who may or may not be in their physical encasement yet their presence is there in our lives. So prostrating ourselves humbly with our love and devotion let us once again embark on a voyage and passage beyond the realm of the  known world that our eyes cannot see and the intellect cannot comprise!!

All my dear readers, I was away from my city covering distance in Madhya Pradesh to complete the last leg of my series of visiting  ancient heritage sites of India and have just seen Khajuraho, the city of temples.  My daughter Mandira  and I  made up our minds to see as much as possible in three days that we were there and were quite successful  in our attempt.   Khajuraho was so very rural and peaceful that we never thought that we would one day travel to such remote parts of India.

Now as you know that if I am sent to such places by my Param Guru, there had to be a special reason to do so. We all know that Khajuraho is a world famous place and is a UNESCO world heritage site too. Surely my eyes were in disbelief when I saw those splendid temples because of their mind blowing  beauty and marvelous sculpture.

As we landed in Khajuraho, it felt as though we were taken back to old times when life was at a very comfortable pace. The whole atmosphere was very calm and placid. The people were gentle and are far from commercialization and modernity. Our hotel was exactly two minutes away from the airport and the complete range of old temples was within a circumference of barely five kilometers. However, once we started seeing the temples, we ran out of time and energy. There were so many and each temple demanded a lot of our time and concentration. We forgot to eat and  drink  water  later in the day, they were so engrossing!! People who like history and appreciate one’s past rich heritage must visit Khajuraho once. Except for excess unchaste engravings on almost all temples, everything was very welcome. I guess there was a lot of competition between all the kings of Chandela dynasty at that time and hence they must have not exercised moderation and sanctity rules in places of worship like these. The next post shall continue with this thought and context and my experiences on the same line of thought.

As usual many questions ran across my mind to which I found answers in my meditations. God is very gracious to me as all my curious questions are best answered by that Supreme Power. Those temples are about 1,500  to 1,800 years old and who else can ever give me such accurate answers? Regarding my those revelations I shall disclose them in the next article and  before that I want  to show you   some beautiful photographs of that city.

I also wish to recall and pay glowing tribute and  homage to all the sculptors, workers, artists and labourers who made these glorious temples and iconic monuments during medieval times in India.

Today when I look back I wonder when my next  journey to an unexplored part of India will be and what  new  learning it will bring.
