Part A

Preface

My dear readers, this post is subtle. It is mainly for the evolving seekers and maybe some help would be required to resolve some content for which you are always welcome. We will also have to go in depth on the subject involved.

The blog post is divided into two parts. The first one is to explain this portion of last post-

“You have been discharged the duty of awakening people far and wide in all parts of the world through your very original and creative writing. It has energy, solutions and a road map to guide all wanderers and to anchor them to this blog. In future, you shall write articles that shall reveal hidden knowledge and concealed information that God has been keeping to itself from time immemorial. It is my will that that sacred, secreted knowledge should be opened up now and given to mankind because in today’s world, all the givers of spiritual knowledge are either running after their own prestige or money or vying with each other in bad competition. They have not surrendered their ego (ahankar) and are still in darkness (Maya). Merely giving good discourses is not enough and useful. Unless true and right knowledge (gyan) dawns on humans, they cannot relieve themselves of the bad karmas and lack of spiritual wisdom (bodh). Pure knowledge (Atma Gyan) should be dispensed through an authentic source so that adulteration and putrefaction is avoided. Nobody can swim across the ocean of delusion (bhram) unless their guide knows to swim very well. Verbal help is of no use, it will not save the drowning victim.”

In the last post, there were some terms which were nuanced and elusive and have been picked up again to explain terms like ahankar, Atma gyan, bhram etc. I have selected some part from one old post- The state of super consciousness-III for  the convenience of the old as well new readers, it is essential at this stage. Please read it well  to get a grip of what will be concluded in the end after reading the referred paragraphs from older posts.

Atman –There is a Universal, all pervading, infinite, immortal Power or Force which is all comprehensive. It is called Atman, Brahma or Ishawara. It is present in the form of light and wisdom in all beings. It has no definite beginning or end hence is immortal. Atman can only be felt or experienced but cannot be described. Only a sacred soul can realize and know it. Those who do impure and profane acts can never know Atman, cannot even have belief and conviction of its existence. The glory, beauty and praise of Atman should not be sung before the defiled and desecrated spirits.

Jeeva – A fraction of the Universal Force is present in us and it is called jeeva or individual self or human self. The human has mainly two impurities or vikaar and they are desire and ego because of which he gets deluded and forgets and fails to remember God and consequently suffers from troubles, problems, unrest and unhappiness.

Manas or mind –  In every individual jeeva there is present  manas or loosely called mind. A fragment of the Universal light is present in the individual. Out of this fraction, a little portion of the Universal Force and Light is present in the manas or mind. The mind is shaped in accordance to type of actions performed by the individual. It is the manas that feels and perceives and it has its own light, dim or bright depending on the person. The manas also has its own power depending on how well we behave, think and act. The type of actions performed by us is responsible for the type of force that enters our mind. It entirely depends on the quality and type of actions performed by the individual thus attracting either negative or positive forces.

The power in the mind predetermines a set direction and path and shapes the lives to come. Manas compels us to act in the first place and it is the mind that suffers. After death, the body disintegrates, not the manas. The mind leaves one body and sets on its path and travels according to the karmas performed. According to its desires and performed actions, the mind creates a new body and moves on from the point it has already covered.

The mind is so powerful that it is everything. It possesses the power of sankalpa, ichcha shakti – will power and the power to initiate an action. It is only when we have a will that we do something, we change ourselves, we give a definite course of line and direction to our thoughts and life as a whole. It is because of our desire that we are born and we die only when we have a desire to die.

The mind has immense powers. It can travel anywhere (telepathy), it can hear far off sounds (clairvoyance) and if the mind determines and decides to do something, it begins to connect and tap the Universal Energy which is positive and accomplishes impossible feats.

Tendencies of self-doubt, skepticism, lack of faith in God are innate in the mind. It is self-doubt that separates us from our Atman. They should be discarded.

In Yoga, the first step is to control the mind’s flow and curb it with discipline, self-control and obedience. Once the mind is restrained, its restlessness is contained. When we do bhakti or have devotion, the ego begins to fade away slowly and one loses the passion, attachment and longing for worldly desires and ultimately the human discards the ego entirely for the sake of bathing in God’s bliss. His identity mingles with the all-pervading power like the iron which when melted in very hot fire, melts wholly after becoming red hot and is moulded in the shape which is desired.

The process of complete transformation is done and executed with the kripa of a guru. We must have full faith in ourselves and the Guru who completes the process of divinization for our good. The prana or vital life force is entwined intricately in the mind in a very subtle form and gives force and a concrete push to the mind. Desires give a shape to the mind and the prana give a direction. In the humans, this concept can be explained very well with this comparison and example as explained in the holy scriptures-  A blind man is unable to go forward as he cannot see and so is a lame man. The manas is the lame man and prana is the blind man. The mind is lame if there is no force of prana while the prana have movement, they have no direction. They can however, walk together by helping each other. The mind acts as eyes and the prana as crutches when the duo walk together. Desires are the catalysts.

Meditation makes the force of the prana feeble in its seamless and unrestricted movements. It quietens its senseless roar and curbs its dangerous speed. If one meditates for a very long time, the death of the subtle, hidden desires on its own is absolutely certain. And the countless desires which are unborn yet; however very, very faint they may be; are destroyed by the guru as dreams during the time we sleep by his thought power or sankalp in the last phase.

When all the desires are completely dissolved and finished, Self-Realization or Atma sakshatkar takes place naturally just like the day breaks and simultaneously night recedes. This journey is also of the ascension of the energy chakras beginning from throat chakra to third eye and eventually to crown chakra. In other words we begin from vishuddha chakra to agya and finally to brahmarandra. Vishuddha chakra is the center of mind or manas and is the first phase.  Agya Chakra is the center of breath or prana, the second phase  and finally the Brahmarandra – the center of Atma, our final desired destination.

A human being has three levels or degrees of ego or ahankar– gross, subtle and very subtle. If we translate it in Hindi it is sthool, sukshma and kaaran respectively.  The individual must get rid of the ego completely till its last shred to free itself of maya or prakriti.

Sthool, Gross ego-This is my house, my building, my son….

Sukshma, Subtle ego -I am a gyani, knowledgable, I am sensible, intelligent, I know, I have understood everything. For such people further learning is impossible. People in this category love to hear their praise and find it difficult to handle criticism.

Kaaran- Ati sukshma ahankar, Extremely subtle ego -is entrenched in our breath. It is due to very subtle ego that one believes that he is the doer and  experiencer or karta and bhokta. The prana or breath have to be purified of this impurity. Doing kriya or attending spiritual discourses only accelerates the purification of the prana  but cannot destroy the very subtle ego completely. Prana can only be totally purified with the blessing of a saintly guru, Atmagyani guru on conditions of our surrendering completely and secondly if we have an intense desire to free ourselves from the suffering of recurring births and deaths. These are two important preconditions if we wish to realize Atma. Please refer Why is Atman difficult to know ? once again to get a good understanding of this thought. By surrendering to the Guru, we cross vishuddha chakra, the throat chakra, the seat of manas or mind. It is the mind which stops one from submitting. When the pranas are completely purified, we cross the third eye centre or Agya Chakra about which explanation is given a little later.

When the Agya Chakra cleans completely, then the crown chakra begins to open gradually and the disciple begins to sense and experience Atman. There is a chief difference between understanding Atma intellectually and perceiving it. Atma cannot be ‘known’ but can be perceived within oneself. It is just a very subtle perception, a sensation of its presence inside, a conviction of its presence and a feeling of its existence beyond the senses and mental bodies. It is to be just felt. Atma can neither be explained to others nor can it be given in alms. It can be attained with the mercy of God; it can be conveyed and transferred from a Atmagyani guru to his disciple out of love. It is the selfless love of the guru which spontaneously flows to the disciple and flows as grace and benevolence. The Guru and the disciple both should be pure and selfless for this exchange.

As the prana become purified, our thoughts become pure and refined. Once the thoughts are purified, our actions become untainted, we become humble. Humility is achieved when the disciple crosses the last step of manas or mind. The pranas can be purified by worshipping the Atma gyani guru and not by maintaining silence or maun. If the disciple contemplates and thinks deeply on the guru for a long duration, his prana is purified completely whereas with pranayam the pranas are purified to a good extent. By purification is meant the eradication of the subtlest ego, the thought of doership and the existence of individual self-‘I”.

There are very subtle desires or vasanas clinging to the prana flowing inside us and those desires cannot be destroyed by one’s own efforts as they cannot be detected. If the disciple has immense admiration and adoration for his guru, if he worships him with his mind, body and soul, if the disciple immerses himself in the divine words of the guru, the seeds of the vasanas and unborn desires are destroyed. The brightness and light of divinity in the guru burns the vasanas of the sansara. The delusion of the jeeva that he is the doer and experiencer of the actions performed, vanishes in the knowledge of Atma given by the paramgyani guru. He offers the results and fruits of all his actions to the guru, in return he gets peace and spiritual joy.

The disciple acquires true humility after this stage of development as he has no unpleasant feelings for anybody and is unbiased and selfless. Once awakened, initially he sees everyone as ignorant and uninformed but at a little later stage, the yogi has compassion and mercy for the people who are in sleep state as he sympathizes with their suffering and wishes to improve their deplorable condition. At this stage maun or silence is actual and proper otherwise in silence is hidden subtle ego which can erupt as a volcano in some circumstances.

Repeat the holy sound of Om, meditate on Om. Om is whole and complete in itself and shall give you wholeness. Om is Light itself.

Shwas+vasana=new birth, Or

Breath+ desires= new birth.

When manas or mind enters a new body as new birth, it carries with itself past vasanas or desires, fruits of all past karmas, sanskaras or tendencies of past karmas etc. This is known as pranadosha or corruption of pranas and because of this the prana of the disciple have to be purified to destroy all the past desires of the physical world experiences of all past lives. The desire to enjoy the physical world, the enjoyment of the pleasures derived out of the senses of material, the desire to relish the effects of the karmas done in the past by the jeeva is strongly embedded and hence the master cauterizes all the seed of the embedded desires to liberate him of unwanted and undesirable future consequences.

After the pranas are purified, they flow at a medium pace and the rhythm is tranquil. During meditation they slow down further and in sleep they are as good as negligent. In the absence of desires, in the absence of excitement created by desires, in the absence of mere thought of desires, the mind automatically flows in a calm rhythm and beat. When the mind and body become so calm, we are able to contemplate on Atma. Meditation on Atma, contemplation on Atma releases us from the clutches of repeated births and deaths and gives us mukti  or salvation. Therefore, the disciple must clear all debts and self- created desires.  To achieve the state of Atma or Super Consciousness, there are a few debts that one has to clear……..

Part B

Dear readers, by now you must have got an idea that reaching the kingdom or state of God is a very prolonged procedure and it takes many lives’ efforts and will power. To erase all the subtlest desires locked in the life force till the last shred of a human, takes phenomenal working out and classic planning by the Divine Masters in collusion with the Omnipresent God.

To do this act, we begin with the Guru’s physical form and assume that his physical form is always with us watching over us with a keen eye and compassionate nurturing. This is on the level of removing the gross impurities of ego and desires.

On the next level, we are again advised to take each day and each action by contemplating on the will of God in subtler sense and in small decisions included too. Impurities gradually dwindle and wipe out by this method of cleansing.

Lastly, the remotest scrapes of jeevatma in any human being are abolished by the Omnipresent God with or without the physical Guru. The Gurus’ sankalpas or intentions irrespective of whether he possesses a physical body or not, reaches the disciple wherever he or she may be. The Divine Masters always work on the commands of God, who after testing the eligible seeker by tightest and toughest tests remove and release the remaining doership, all desires and sense of self of that seeker by asking him or her to always obey and listen to however the bizarre and inexplicable summons may be. Those wise men that follow all the directives of the Almighty arriving at their doorstep as life circumstances, intuitions, visions or mere feelings and perceptions in the end as the will of God are richly rewarded. Absolutely the impurities are evaporated, the inner core shines and on that reflects pure, brilliant rays, streams and huge halos of God’s presence as Light and much more awakening. God also arrives and reveals to us more cognizance, phenomenal revelations and unprecedented exposures of hidden secrets of its presence and powers as well as magnificence apart from bestowing continued calmness of mind, good health and well-being and prosperity in every sense.

To elaborate and carry on with the remaining conversation between me and God in the cave at Dwarahat, I will first quote something as was narrated in former post to stay connected with the main idea with the just arrived readers.

“You have come here to me with no selfish motive but out of love for Babaji. Hence he has made you the guiding light for this world on his behalf and for the disciples of many other saints whose children are yet to finish their spiritual journey in this life. Your guiding force will tell them what is Truth and falsehood? What is Guru Bhakti? What is Apara Bhakti(Transcendental devotion)? What is the rin (debt) of shishya towards their Guru? What will happen if you surrender completely and live each day and moment with the wish of God?

There comes a stage in  a sadhak’s (seeker’s) life when the small self or ‘I and I am’ evaporates completely and all the vibrations of the divine world appear without obstruction as there is no corruption in the antahkaran (inner being). When such a divine soul works ceaselessly for the world, God rewards him with unknown, unheard gifts which were secretly hiding in the pouch of God’s womb. Any undertaking or work pursued by such men of God produces extra ordinary results and mankind benefits profusely. Such work is for posterity and should be revered and handled with pure devotion by all. God has plans for humanity for many millenniums into the future. The human mind is too small and constricted to fathom or conceive the gravity of such endeavours and hence makes small or grave mistakes in grasping the fundamental importance of such massive undertakings in which savvy and piercing perceptions of mahayogis (great yogis) act as catalyst in shaping the world that is yet to be designed and carved out of existing present world!”………

Now from those shimmery rays of Light, a little after all this poured these following lines towards me which made me reel under much, much amazement and I dazzled in every sense! They were-

“I directed Shri Mahavatar Babaji to start the new wave of Kriya Yoga in the modern world with the help of his previous disciple Shri Lahiri Mahasaya. It was here in 1861, that a seed was sown for that great purpose for world revival. Since the past more than five decades, the world and the Earth have seen rapid decadence, regression and too much immorality. I have called you here in the same cave to restart a new movement by which ancient knowledge can be provided in their homes to all pursuing souls directly without any adulteration, ulterior motive or mixing of obsolete ideas. It will have far-fetched results in time to come. This old cave disperses vibrant spiritual energies till this day. It has been in use since more than nine thousand years by wandering yogis, ascetics and spiritual practitioners. Whichever person meditates at home or anywhere by genuinely visualizing meditating here in this charged cave will be blessed and will receive benediction, grace and mercy. The aim should be for spiritual progress and salvation and not benefits of material advantages. Now go and compose many articles which will have your life turning incidents as episodes in your blog by which not hundreds but millions will be rewarded and enriched in their enduring spiritual pursuits.

God’s work is silent, God’s presence is silent and God is silence. Bathe yourself in the purity of that silence which is within you, you shall be worshiped.

This work is not for today but for centuries to come where mankind can help itself in seeking their lost glory and divinity by diving in the pool of spiritual nectar and releasing itself from its own created miseries, gloom and darkness. Those people are blessed who live each day by believing in the presence of God within and listening to the will of God to enhance their divinity and sovereignty”….

The much, much awaited moment of approaching the holy mountain arrived for us on the auspicious day of 20th Sept 2014. We left the YSS ashram at Dwarahat at sharp 9 am for Dunagiri Mountain with our packed lunch after having a good breakfast. We hired a guide who was attached with the Ashram and also took a jeep on hire so that our journey would be trouble free. It is advised that we should not take our car there because nobody can drive the very narrow, unmetalled roads beyond a point, a place called Kukuchina in a car. Jeeps are suited for this purpose.

Our guide and driver were both very good and as we had arranged them through the Swamiji of YSS ashram, we got some information about the place and stories about Shri Lahiri Mahasayaji, Shri Mahavatar Babaji and their cave and also about a few sadhus and yogis living there presently. We learnt that they are also being helped to grow in their individual path by receiving messages astrally from time to time from Shri Lahiri Mahasayaji and Shri Mahavatar Babaji. I sensed that the work of God  is going on world wide all the time silently.

Let me now please describe a little about our walk upward towards the cave. Doing so will help many others who wish to sometime visit this powerful, peaceful and reclusive cave in times to come. Also these pictures are a testimony of how the yogis have enriched their spiritual lives by doing their individual efforts so passionately over centuries even before we woke up to them……

The place was very serene and quiet atmosphere greeted us. No devotees had arrived so far in the peaceful mountain. Except for the chirping and singing of the small birds, we heard no sounds in the small forest. It was extra ordinarily pious and tranquil as if a few yogis are still meditating in their subtle bodies there, and that the world is oblivion to them and they are disseminating very fine peaceful vibrations all around for our world….

Providentially, the surroundings became free of any untoward climate change except for appearance of some light, grey floating clouds. It was a sunny day after that. Little bit of drizzling had already taken place even before we came to the starting point and we started our trek with complete surrender and expectations none. 

Our jeep took us so precariously on these very thin, narrow kuchcha roads barely 5 meters or maybe less than 15 ft I suppose. Only the locals could have driven in a track like that, on slim edges of mountains. For them it was a daily business and for us a sacred yatra.

Sticks are given by YSS and also shoes to those who came unprepared.This is the starting point from where we begin our climb up. We are at the foot of riven Gagash.

I came to know from my guide that Shri Lahiri Mahasayaji followed this river, Gagash (Guruji has spelt it as  Gogash in Bengali pronunciation in AOY) while he was rambling in the mountains and accidentally reached the place where Babaji called out his name-Gangadhar as described by Guruji in AOY. We are standing where Gagash is flowing and took a picture as our token of gratitude and thanksgiving to Shri Lahiri Mahasayaji even before we ascended.

The trek began from this point.

The forest was healthy and looked self sustained.

The caretaker who keeps the key of the lock of the cave and his wife working in a field in the morning as seen by us on the heights. His father used to keep the key earlier.

Our guide asked him to pass him the key to open the door of the cave. We were the first visitors that day fortunately and wished to maintain silence throughout.

We took some short breaks to accommodate ourselves to the new altitude as we were going higher. When we stopped, I enjoyed seeing the new growth in September after the rains in all the trees. The new pines’ leaves were very light in weight and had a hue of beautiful light green. I enjoyed seeing so many trees and always with the same level of joy.This particular tree which my eyes saw, gave me a different perspective. It was so artistic. The curls in the stems of the pine tree resembled like locks and curls of a beautiful girl which were swaying on her young face and she was seeing this very pristine view of valleys and mountains from a height! I certainly felt at this moment that the beautiful views in front of my eyes must be a painter’s most sought views…….everything in nature so beautifully arranged, everything working quietly with so much precision, peacefulness and mutual co-operation and sustenance.

After walking up for about 50 minutes we saw something-

A new structure, a meditation hall has been constructed just a little before the cave by YSS. It is on the same place where Babaji fulfilled Lahiri Mahasayaji’s wish of a golden palace.(Ch 34 AOY- Materializing a Palace in the Himalayas)

We are close to Babaji’s cave.

We finally arrive at it to our greatest satisfaction. I stopped immediately and gazed and gazed at the cave  from outside without any stirring as if my deepest most desire has been fulfilled and I had arrived at last. After all I had waited for 12 years for this auspicious moment!

After our most serene and enriching moments, we walked down completely soaked in fulfillment and satisfaction. We felt highly remunerated and rewarded, the reason being that the circumstances that we were in in the past many weeks, this pilgrimage was just not feasible, we were thinking of not going ahead. It required exceptional yielding and will to agree to God’s wish and fortunately we complied. All the way as we were inching upwards, we were so happy and relieved that we forego and overlooked so many things just to make this trip possible. I had planned to come here in 2002 but the most appropriate time was now I was certain after I undertook my yatra. To come to a place like this one, I had to be prepared very well and with a great purpose in my life ahead. After all it was here that the momentous action of initializing Kriya Yoga in modern times was spearheaded by none other than Shri Mahavatar Babaji………I was totally convinced of my belief that day!

This post is reverently dedicated in memory of His Holiness Shri Mahavatar Babaji and Shri Lahiri Mahasayaji   who in the modern times Kaliyug revived the ancient Kriya Yoga Science at this consecrated and sanctified cave on a holy mountain, Dunagiri and millions are benefiting from this spectacular event……

I have made a short video of this cave for the readers delight and contentment. There may be some who cannot ever go there because of some specific reasons; be it their age, distance or merely home bound duties. They will get a short glimpse of this sacrosanct place.

Ever since I have visited the very vibrant, sacred place in Bangalore called the Sapta Rishi Dhyana Kendra,  Manasa Light Age Foundation on 22^nd August ’14 morning, there has not gone a single day when I am not thinking, contemplating about it or receiving very powerful and yet subtle energies from that source. In this way my mind, even when involved in the basic and special tasks and duties of the ongoing day has not been able to let go of its immense impact on me. In the gaps that are empty of occupation with the essential duties, I quickly go back to that place with the help of my subtle mind and I am meditating there. My physical body at home but my mind to be found in the meditation hall of the White Light, which is continuously arriving from the Sapt Rishis, the constellation of seven Sages and many other unnamed divine sources of Light as well. In this way, there have been many considerable gains in my favour from those sources. Besides, this post is in response to those yearning souls who are craving to obtain more food for their thought and Spirit.

Some persons wanted me to enter a post on Ganesh Chaturthi day. I pray to God and Lord Ganesha to fulfill that wish and impart us auspiciousness, intellect, mental prosperity and more insights for every person on this special day with this new publication. With these benevolent offerings and prayers, I narrate my interaction with an unknown, silent Sage this afternoon.

In my introverted and meditative times, fresh avenues and doorways have flung open by the grace of a Rishi who wishes to stay anonymous but has inspired me to write this post. The reason why he says he wishes to stay veiled from others is that the post contains many aspects of the veiled Maya or delusion about which we are never able to uncover in all our lives put together. We must nevertheless overcome it. However, it is only when a yogi has arrived at specific progressive and trailblazing milestone in his or her spiritual life, God begins to unfold so many mysterious secrets of Maya. In Maya all  people keep falling again and yet again blindly and agonize themselves and grieve incessantly after that. He wished to be elusive for the reason that this subject matter which is explained right here is also delusive and he will stay reclusive. Hence his point of view will be driven home extremely easily and people will remember today’s lesson well. It is his way of making us understand very well by staying nameless and unspecified. I agreed to his will out of sheer respect and admiration.

The venerated Sage in the celestial world explained to me at length that-

“There are many self-help and spiritual organisations all over the world which from outside look genuine but they are shady and dicey. They look attractive and inviting to public but are booby traps. The people who are running it are having asurik or enchanting powers of Maya. Those proclaimed Gurus or saints have vast qualities of attracting a large number of people who get driven to them blindly and commit themselves to doing actions which are prohibited by God. Such leaders have false individuality and abased ego and are surrounded invisibly by low quality dead entities which are holding that so called saint at ransom invisibly, thus lowering the energy field of the place and the people who come to them. The pseudo or self-styled Spiritual Gurus are not even in the know sometimes about the energy fields being invaded by the low beings from the bad world. Some do it on purpose and consciously thus misleading thousands of men and children. The unscrupulous, spiritual professors and lecturers resort to all types of occult and negative forces of nature for their own advantage and are completely unaware of what they are doing and what wrath they are about to bring upon the innocent visitors and their followers subsequently. In such states of consciousness, people who have arrived as seekers or worshipers or devotees, set out unknowingly to create a new group or set of karmas and actions which are so detrimental and regressive for them that one cannot ever even imagine.

When those disciples arrive at the door of the realized genuine Spiritual Master by good luck sometime in future, the task of relieving such number of sinking souls is a mammoth task for the genuine Messiah. Only an effusively enlightened Spiritual Guru can regress into very far off lives of such disciples and can help them come out of the mess and disorder that was created in many incarnations back by them or even if generated now in the present life.

Likewise, there are many people who are living around us in our environment and are harming us by their negative vibrations and behaviour. We are tolerant and also accepting this fact because primarily we cannot differentiate between good and evil people. We do not know how badly we are getting affected currently by them and will also continue in future by our obliviousness.”

And so the kind Rishi educated me very gently in his own, sublime manner for many more minutes. He continued very gently in murmurs-

“It is God’s mercy through the mentor Guru or other saintly, godly souls who are always protecting you from the ethereal world and hinting at the proposal of minimizing your contact with such nasty and depreciating people. We do so because we do not want you at any cost to fall back in the dark world again and suffer for so many existences or lives, physically, mentally or emotionally.

The Universe consists of negative and positive energies. The negative forces play a very pivotal role in a soul’s journey towards knowing the presence of God in oneself. They throw upon us a challenge of a force that makes our journey upwards to divinity difficult, rather unmanageable. And that is the test laid by God for us so that we pass the test of struggle, a fight of overcoming all the opposing forces in nature.”

The venerated, silence loving Rishi further explained to me that-

“There is a thin line that divides the good saatvik force and the tamasik negative forces which we should differentiate if we wish to enter the realms of pure Spirit. I assert upon you all that we must never cross that line of Maya that divides the saatvik and tamasik force, the good and the evil force. If we do so, we shall fall into the booby trap of agonizing karmic cycles of action and reaction and get traumatize in so many ways in future incarnations.

There are cases of people who have come to learn from Spirit In Life but have left halfway as their own Maya in the guise of ego came in the way of realizing the Truth. If they do not return at present, they will take several incarnations to realize the Truth at that time but with agony and pain and the dawn of Purity and Truth will manifest with utmost grief, frustration and hurdles. Hence to make your journey to Self Realization easy and fast, get rid of the depleting, negative forces in and around you and let go of the false pride and submit humbly. Go deep inside to know your own weaknesses. Those people who have left unfinished tasks and not done but are reading the blog clandestinely and not acknowledging the person who is working hard to write enlightening articles regularly will be reprimanded and penalized by God. They must remember the story of Eklavya from Mahabharat who sacrificed his thumb for not telling and acknowledging his Master about his source of knowledge. He was cursed and humiliated by his own Guru Dronacharya while Arjuna was always blessed for having the subdued qualities of submission, love, purity and respect for the teachers.”

A lot of time just passed away in listening to what the humble Sage was telling me in the afternoon yet I was not done. I wished that he should summarize my lesson of the day with precepts and guidelines so that I always remember it when I need them. Knowing the innermost of my desires, the Sage very perfectly ended my learning session with benign wisdom and a memorable lesson-

He softly and tenderly re-joined, “Whenever we have done less actions of piousness and humility, whenever we have done very little actions of charity, when we have done such little actions of love and peace, the negative forces pounce upon us to consume us. Our own actions are responsible for the compelling Maya to overpower us and blind us. Do actions which will free you from the clutches of obscurity, demeaning ego, greed, wasteful desires and sexual lusts and longings.

Serve your Guru in whatever way you can. Serve the humanity according to your own strengths and power. Love everybody and do not be revengeful and nasty to people. Do not loathe, disgust the poor and needy, help them instead. Do not boast about your earnings and wealth, it is all very temporary. God can give you disease and sickness to show how little and insignificant you are in this world. Death will wipe out everything that you own today and will remove your name permanently from this Earth. Merely people who have done chaste, selfless, generous, loving and pure actions are remembered in history, times and ages to come. The Sapt Rishis are remembered today for their developmental and self-sacrificing actions for the society and people and their work was offered to God and hence they are venerated even today. Till this day they are continuing to help salvage the humanity in their act of redeeming their souls from wasteful lives and then assisting them to soar higher in spiritual world so that the Earth becomes a loving, peaceful and wonderful place for all living and non-living beings for centuries to come.

Never ignore your spiritual duties even if you have to ignore your everyday duties. Learn meditation with earnestness. Help those poor people who cannot walk alone on the virtuous path of Truth and Knowledge. Give a helping hand to the meek and the courageous alike. Fill your life with divine bliss, peace and pure love. Forgive those who have always hated and troubled you; their minds are contaminated. May God bless all of you with inner courage and strength to make your decision firm in fulfilling God Realization in this life itself. May you all prosper, find peace in all your attempts and may you all serve the Enlightened Masters in whatever you are capable of. Walk alone on the path of God with your head high and heart full of devotion, tranquillity and assure yourself a berth in the celestial world where no moment passes without lingering serenity, peacefulness and deep ecstasy. God is kind, very kind. You move an inch forward and God will hold your hand until you know His true nature so full of compassion, forgiveness, love and quietude.

Live your present life in enduring Peace, Love and Light.”

My dear fellow co-travellers, today is 12^th July of 2014; Guru Purnima, a full moon night, an auspicious day most widely celebrated across the world by all the devotees, disciples and seekers and of course, by the admirers of the system of guru shishya, teacher–student’s unconditional relationship. After receiving quite a few messages and mails in the day, I wish to reply to all with my new post, hope you receive your message and lesson. It has been quite a long time since a new blog-post appeared here. The reason is obvious- we are revising and recapitulating older articles on FB with the intention of churning and absorbing the hidden as well as obvious facts in the blogposts. Moreover, new, short and systematic posts are being published on Face Book also for those who could not have processed and grasped the very grave articles on the blog pages at the outset. Many of you who have reached the blog via FB hopefully are getting to know about the foundation and the natural flow of theme in which the blog ascends progressively. I have been eagerly awaiting to know from them if they need any clarification or further explanation on those topics; I think many do. Please take your time to introduce yourself and tell me what is it that you are absorbing and what should I do more to enhance your inner sadhana. Sending only friend request won’t be helpful.  You may please first write something about yourself on spiritinlife@gmail.com, after which a student-teacher relationship can be initiated and help and proper guidance received by you.

Please let me tell you that on Spirit In Life blog, you shall find only ways and methods of doing inner sadhana. The more you are going to stabilize and quieten your mind by performing those certain actions, the more you shall get clarity about the basis and principles of knowing the Truth within. With the passing of time you shall get more  peace and calmness because your ignorance shall be wiped out gradually with the Light of God. Many saints’ blessings are embedded here so remember to tune in your mind with theirs. Be cautious in retaining and preserving what you have grasped or else you may lose it slowly with flow of time. The hurricane-wind of the Maya or the deluding force will uproot your stabilized mind. Those who are doing their Kriya practice, please do not disrupt your discipline. Many of you are not initiated in it, it is alright. Reading the articles of the blog with trust and faith as well as pure devotion will lead your life into a new direction which you had never imagined before. Words of wisdom and new light shall follow after you have imbibed the whole essence. It requires you to put in the effort of many reads in the articles so as to grasp the unabridged quintessence. Later, you may surely ask for my help in case you still feel that you have not been able to touch the lowermost bed of the sea! I am of the view that those of you who have been sincere in their determinations and struggles have managed to come quite far relatively effortlessly…..

So let’s begin our next lesson-

Outer actions and inner actions, antar bahir kriya – both actions are going on all the time in us. Outer actions are those that require a human being to do actions with one or more of the five senses present in the physical body. While inner actions are those that are performed silently or loudly at the level of mind and not visible.

Inner sadhana or tapasya involves the mind. The mind or manas at the advanced level of an aspiring yogi is engaged in performing actions for the  higher purpose of attaining the advanced knowledge of discovering the Truth or Self within oneself. The external actions become secondary in such a case. They are done sometimes to assist the growth of the Soul. Inner actions are systematically initiated and performed with the aid of proper guidance of a realized Guru also called as Atmagyani Guru, that is a Guru or Teacher who has experienced the immortal, eternal existing power called Atma or Brahma within oneself.

Atma is very elusive; it is hidden even from the greatest intellectual or gyani. It deceives the most knowledgeable man, it can delude the most self styled propagandist, missionary or advocator or proponent or a champion of jugglery of words! Yet it is present in all of us and every being!

So what should a true seeker do, how should they begin their journey of Self Realization?

The real work begins with the act of doing subtle actions related to one’s mind. It is to first calm the mind, silence it and then fix it wholly on Divine Guru first.  And with attaining perfection, advance towards bringing one’s mind on concentrating on unalloyed, absolute Brahma. This is also action, also called kriya but they are refined karmas. With meditation and concentration as the breath calms down with daily practice, the prana, the life force disjoints with manas, mind and the knot of jeeva and Atma separates. With constant hearty blessings of Guru and our own regular efforts, the Atma begins to dazzle!! It shines as gyan, knowledge, peacefulness, outpourings of joy called Ananda and sometimes as pure silence or void- all are attributes of our eternal Self.

Be steadfast, be truthful to yourself and know that these subtle actions or sukshma karmas or kriyas will take you very far in achieving the lost kingdom of God within.

Many people wonder in the world and question why we aren’t doing regular ceremonial actions as is being preached in our religions or communities instead. The answer is that when wisdom dawns, ignorance flies! The mind does maximum actions, maximum internal actions give maximum corresponding good or bad fruits of our actions in time to follow. Hence, when we stop this predicament, and do some specific actions with awareness after controlling and concentrating the mindless breaths; or if we put a stop to wasting of breath, then enlightenment and knowing of that Supreme Self is possible when we take charge of those subtle actions that are occurring continuously on the platform of our mind with mastering meditation.

Shri Bogarnath enlightened me about this in my evening subtle meditation through His Light on this auspicious day of Guru Purnima and asked me to write about it. It is our Guru Purnima Prasad and should be partaken with that attitude by all of us.

My heart is so full of gratitude and love towards all the sacred Masters, who are constantly showering their inner Light on us through their flow of subtle energies and because of that we proceed and move forward little by little and rise up higher in our Consciousness. On this special day, I touch their tender, holy feet and ask for their constant guardianship, protection and spiritual comfort and expansion of my consciousness……

Effulgent White Light I saw coming towards me engulfing,

I absorbed it with contentment and gratitude and further more gratitude,

My eyes smoothly closed and welcoming it with a loving heart,

I noted that this time, it was different as it would not stop too quickly!

It was gratifying, I applied my will mildly for it not to end coming towards me,

Last night was unique as the bright Divine Light was surging towards me incessantly,

I could see it inside my eyes and saw the faintest colours; beautiful white and softest blue,

More than enough moments passed and it still lurked around me and daintily kept streaming and flowing.

More Light, still more Light surrounded me and I noted that I had no desire to have it stopped,

It filled my vision, my eyes, my calm mind and my every happy pore of the inner being liberally,

Why should it be stopped and why should it not be cascading over my fortunate eyes?

The gentle, soft, endearing, mellow, soft and enchanting Light had arrived as a sign of my benevolent and merciful God!

Unceasing it was, this time it would not stop easily for it came to say that blessings were being sent, said He-

“For all the hardships endured with no complaints or antipathy or sigh or outbreak or pessimism,

You were as if burrowing the Ocean, you knew that unless you have the patience of the magnitude of the giant mountains Himalayas,

You will never be able to see Me as brilliant, as effulgent, as radiant and as ceaseless as today this!

I come to you as per and according to you how you make a vision of Me inside and,

Your devotion, faith and ingenuity and ceaseless yearnings and endless heart wrenching calls!

I am not so easy to attain yet not so hard to please, if you are fiercely determined and are ready,

To submit everything that belongs to you and even your happiness, health, life and death and every breath.

Come to me all, if you are ready to entice me with your unending faith and devotion,

Give me your love, attention, regard, care, vision, heart, splendour and everything that you own,

I will confirm you and welcome you with my most brilliant attributes and gifts of knowledge,

Love, sympathy, compassion, bravery and very brilliant Light of mine that you have ever imagined and have never known!”

Part A

My undying will to meet him

In 2004, when I was going to Badrinath shrine I remember in the bus, I was very seriously involved in having a conversation with Shri Mahavatar Babaji mentally. I was sitting near the window and was quietly envisioning a picture. While descending and ascending on the steep mountain curves I was thinking as if he was with me and speaking to me about many important things. I was in great search of him you see. I was serious and steady in my pursuit of meeting him personally so that he could teach me face to face as is the normal method of learning between the Master and the disciple; that is what I understood at least in the beginning.

I had read a few books around this time which had little information about him and I very naively set out to Badrinath shrine expecting him to find him easily and assuredly. I was introduced to scarce information about him nonetheless, I saw that there was a great pull between us- I was extremely attracted to him. Although I knew very little about him, still I was crazy about receiving spiritual enlightenment from him directly. I trusted him blindly and wished that he should accept me as his disciple when I meet him there. This was one of my purposes of seeing him personally in Badrinath. I had till then not even met somebody who was clamouring for him like me and hence had no opportunity to share my alike feelings with them. I was a lone voyager in every respect . My hidden feelings had sometimes suffocated me.

He was anyway speaking to me by this time throughout guiding me to go to inner chambers where the soul rests and responds, a condition to which we are never introduced and acquainted with by our previous Gurus. Shri Mahavatar Babaji was obviously different. I was already under his tutelage learning through a new, highly evolved method of learning but was unaware about the developments. In fact, I did not even know that I was by this time being equipped to learn in the most developed and advanced method of learning- through telepathy.

He said somberly, “Some of the saints or authors who write so scholarly about spiritual matters in books themselves do not understand what they have written. They write only superficially. I myself have made some of them write by infusing and lodging great ideas and thoughts in their minds. If you want today, I can do the same thing to you. You can write books on spirituality but you will not understand it today. Or else if you can wait, then I can give you many defining experiences and after that if you write books, you will understand everything. After those experiences if you explain to others, it will be born out of your own experiences and would not be spoken lightly.”

I thought about it and responded instantly after splitting his ideas or boons into two parts, “I am not too sure if I am inclined to write books.  It will merely boost my ego and will be a cause to show off to the world, it is pointless I think. However, if you can give me some good spiritual experiences for which I am desperately craving, it should be fine because that is what I am looking for. My books if I write supposedly, in time to come will be replaced by some other person’s; this world is constantly changing so the ego cannot be satisfied for too long. All worldly pursuits and happiness is anyway short-lived and hence I am more interested in taking liberating knowledge from you irrespective of anything. And if you still say that I must write books, I am totally clueless. What can I write, I am a fledgling. In any case, I would like to first get all experiences, then write with my experiences and only after understanding everything fully.” He accepted my point of view.

I began blogging from May 2008 and there has been no discontinuation. Ever since then, after getting enough spiritual and physical world experiences, everything that has been written has been out of my own understanding and beliefs. My posts have been delivered only after I have had some mystifying experience and not merely from a scholar’s point of view.

It is because I had a great desire to be enlightened now and here and that desire prepared me for anything and everything. And my desire was too strong to be ignored.

From then till now, all my sadhana and learning has been based on this incentive and inducement. Since the time of this milestone, almost every year I have been called to the Himalayas to meet him, but he does not meet me. When I go home, I am given harder lessons in the hope that I must be ready for him to meet in future, maybe next year, then pushed to next year. It has been more than ten years since this peculiar thing has been happening. The height was when we almost died in a treacherous trek in Satopanth area when we were made to believe that I will be able to see him. But contrarily we were told that we were sent there to either wear off some of our karmas or on my part, I was tested to the maximum. And we returned home with those experiences without meeting him.Whatever it is, I still believe in him, in Shri Mahavatar Babaji and his divine words because he would not be punishing me or harassing me. Rather, he is making me what he thinks I can be in spiritual stature. Had it not been for him, I would not have undergone so many adventures, misadventures, beautiful experiences, extraordinary perceptions and great meditations and so on. I still believe in him and have my trust placed in him wholly. All my tapasya has been revolved around him since the time I found him.

Part B

Exhausting drive upwards

In the past two years because of excessive work and all kinds of spiritual activities undertaken by me voluntarily, my body showed signs of excessive fatigue and I was also in constant pain. After my daughter’s marriage in November 2013, I was pondering and had decided to slow down consciously. My mind was showing signs of tenderness and helplessness because of affected health. I was about to lose interest in meeting new great and defying challenges. I was wondering if I should go further and extrapolate. Haven’t I done enough by now already, I asked myself several times? I think I did enough to be proud of myself because if I looked back, I realized I did extrapolate after all and I could now let things just be. I wanted to stop applying my mind force to make mountains move now……..!

It was this point that Babaji was waiting for and wished to intervene with full force and interest. He did exactly that. He again began to call me to the Himalayas and put life force in me with this idea. I told him that it has been many years since I have been wanting to have his darshan and by now my body has begun to deteriorate and I would like to have him inside rather than outside at this stage. I also reminded him that I am now ten years plus and am aging so I should not expect that kind of vitality from my body while he is ageless and immortal. Because of my immobility, there was weight gain and more problems seem to be coming my way and therefore I should slow down.

Between the months December  2013 and February 2014, I was advised to take certain foods and medicines and I began to improve. I was sent to yoga classes and the joints became suppler and I could bend and have better body movements. In February end, I was communicated that I should not stop travelling and should go to Varanasi in March and then to Binsar in May. I was still skeptical and doubtful of things to come. So I took one thing at a time. I made it to Varanasi and was waiting for May to come and then take my call.

Then one day during these times with so much compassion he intervened and spoke to me, “My child, I am sorry for you. I knowingly made you do so many things which went against your well-being. You have done and undergone intense spiritual rigors. You put your body to great pressure and strain. You have done forty years tapasya in ten years and hence your body has begun to crack up. But don’t worry, I will tell you means to restore yourself back to good health. Don’t be disappointed with yourself or your reduced health. Under my supervision you have done this hard tapasya, so it is now me who will guide you to wholesome heath again.”

He further said, “You must not stop traveling. You must gain additional experiences to elevate yourself further. You should change your life style a little bit and take great care in taking enough sleep and food supplements. In due course of time, you will be again become very fit and healthy.”

I trusted him because I could see a pattern, a specific pattern that he has implemented to groom, teach and enlighten me. He was following that with all earnestness. So I thought that even if one more time he repeats the same exercise of deluding me and making me believe that it is time for me to see him personally and then decline me, it will be worth it. I have nothing to lose anyway and God is seeing that I am always sincere in my invocations and endeavour. What if he does meet me? How can I lose that opportunity? And what are his exact future plans?

Before I went to the mountains again, I was told by a group of saints including Agastya Maharishi on 16^th May afternoon in my powerful meditation in Delhi that this time Shri Mahavatar Babaji has called me to Almora district for sure to have his darshan. My excitement and faith revived suddenly. But sometimes I felt otherwise. I told them that I am skeptical because this could be one of his invented ways to drive me crazy again and I am very low in my will power by now because of lukewarm health and many denials that have come with each trip. I even told them that it is by now very predictable, the whole game is predictable. Moreover, moving with so many luggage, some mine and some for him in the mountains is awesome. So why not avoid a story whose ending I already know?

Very interestingly my own mother who is no more, came to me at least three times sometime in the day in beginning and middle of May to say that Babaji will surely meet me one day. Now this was very assuring and believable because she was not in their league or confederation at all to conspire or delude me like them!

So I began my new journey again. And this time I was not given a driver. I and my daughter with a brand new assignment borrowed a car and drove towards Himalayas on a twelve hour journey, at 5.15 am on 18^th May 2014. We took turns in driving. I was very shaky in mind and body and questioned if I could drive so much with my erratic and capricious knees. Finally, with full faith and surrender to my Holy Guru Shri Mahavatar Babaji I set out in the open sea of unknown to swim again!

The journey was very smooth and the knees behaved as if they have connived with the confederation of the saints and I could drive effortlessly. We reached safely and the place and weather was just right for us. After reaching there, I had no plans or clues about what next after this point. I was purposely not told. So I was at dead end again. But I went there with this mind that the unknown shall be explored and whatever they have willed, which will be unfolded at a time of their consent will be in abidance with full faith by me. With this agreement, we began our next day on 19^th May.

I was called at two appointed places one by one on two different days saying that they were the meeting venues. First was crowded Bageshwar on 20^th May, where there was a Shiva temple called Baghnath, 25 kms from Binsar.  And another one was world heritage Shiva temple called Baidyanath, further 25 kms in the pine trees laden, lonely mountains from Bageshwar. I was now driving very confidently in the high and curvy mountains casually like the taxi drivers were doing there with no fear at all or pain in the leg joints. However, nobody came and I was again disappointed!

Second place of alleged or purported meeting was the gate of a secluded wildlife sanctuary in Binsar. We drove there on 21^st May evening and except for the mountains, the birds and the pine trees, we were met with nobody. So as a first reaction as my submission I told God, whatever had to be done by me has been carried out and I am having no complaints. Maybe I am not ready for it yet. May be I do not have uncountable good deeds until now. Therefore, your wish is my wish and I will now go back home knowing well that whatever my Master does has to be in collusion with God and God had chalked out this plan for me with a perfect design. Whether Babaji meets me in physical form or not, in Spirit he is and will be with me. If he feels that I should be meted out this treatment, I am happy with it because the lessons that he is yet to impart me after calling me so far have not come yet.  They are far more important than my eyes seeing him in physical body. Pondering this I became more peaceful and quieter than previous very anxious days.

My retreat was so very peaceful and quiet and I enjoyed every moment in nature.  And Shri Mahavatar Babaji spoke to me in the my meditation at 4.15 in the morning of 21st   May 2014, the day before I was about to leave.

“I am what I am today because of my Ichcha Shakti. I became immortal because of my great will power to do unprecedented penance. I have risen to never before spiritual heights only because of my will power. This power is inherent in all of us.

You too have extraordinary will power but you were about to become weak in recent months. So I planned and designed this trip to break that incoming weakness. Treat this trip as a pilgrimage. I sent you to Bageshwar and Baidyanath for your daughter’s rising and as these temples are very ancient, I wished that you both should derive blessings from those ancient places.  Bageshwar’s Shiva temple has the boon of eroding very hard, past stubborn tendencies while Baidyanath can grant boons to restore chronic ill health. It is a different matter that people don’t know about it. You shall improve your health from now onward and will also be able to work more as you have done in the past. Unbalance in health was weakening your will power.

You have covered unimaginable spiritual tracks so far only because you had a great will power. I have used that Ichcha Shakti to make you do maximum tapasya. What the saints have said is not a myth. You will meet me for sure but please wait for some more time. If you discontinue and give up your power to will, how can you meet me? I am making it more and more stronger.

I will meet you as many times as I have called you and not met you. I will compensate for all the hardships and declines that I have purposely meted out to you. I will meet you in Badrinath and other places also in time to come. I will call you and after you meet me, you should document those meetings. In the end, there will be two books on Atma and Brahma which I will make you write in Badrinath after some years which will bring you in spot light for right reasons.

I have precisely carried out those exercises which will enhance your Ichcha Shakti more and more. I wanted to make sure that your power of will does not fickle out and therefore gave you very challenging things to do. I am about to give you some more hard duties to perform in future soon so that your mind becomes more stronger and you can always bounce back to God Consciousness and perform your spiritual duties because of your strong power of will.

There is a lot of writing waiting to be done at home continuously. There are going to be about 33 articles in this segment remaining. Get prepared to travel abroad in future and elsewhere and work laboriously till a ripe age. For many years you will travel extensively. God will restore everything that has been denied to you with unfair means.”

Dear friends, some more things were told all of which cannot be told in public. I am yet to really recall all those wonderful things that were imparted to me in May days. Since I have returned home, I have been assigned new absolutely divergent duties which have kept me thoroughly preoccupied. I am practicing earnestly to apply my will power to return with force to my divine consciousness immediately as they finish. The balancing act is on. All this is my tapasya and it really gets harder as you go up……but nonetheless should be pursued!

Morning meditation

In my meditation on 1.6.14, my insights given by God-

At the very deepest level of your soul, there is resonance. The vibration, if at all anyone can hear, there is a sound vibration of the name Babaji. Babaji, Babaji, Babaji…… it resonates. It is purely very thin, very faint; extremely numb sound vibration of the sound of the name Babaji.

This is only possible when at the deepest level of the mind, there is no desire of any worldly things or possibilities of craving for material items, none. Even the fear of life and death is over. You have been thinking of being in presence with Babaji so much that your deepest imagery has him etched inside and you have taken his name so many times silently in your musings since the time you started that it has erased all names, sounds or images or descriptions. Your desire to have his darshan, being in his holy company and serving him has brought you this high state of mind. It has wiped out all delusion or aberrations called Maya. There is no deviation or misunderstanding of any sort.

Conclusion-To develop the power of will or Ichcha Shakti, we will be given more challenges, obstacles, snags, troubles, hardships, encounters and stumbling blocks by God. The more our desire to stay one with God and our holiest Guru, the more hard we will have to try to overcome those problems and stumbling blocks to revert to them. So grow and develop the will power with every day and after overcoming them, aspire higher.

It is only our will power that will be backing us up in our higher and still higher Spiritual progress.

Morning meditation of 2.6.14

Om sound is the only sound in this Universe that does not require any conduit or channel to travel. Sound, electrical and other waves need a medium. Our spinal chord is a channel and is hollow and like a pipe. Om transfers, moves inside it in the empty hole and it travels on its own. It travels without any channel or nerves in ether inside the spinal chord and in other parts of the body.

Part A

From ‘The state of Super Consciousness-I’

Mahavatar Babaji is one such outstanding holy incarnation. He is meditating and living with a group of a few trusted and very advanced yogis in the secret caves of Himalayas living for just one purpose- to help mankind and the human race as a whole to evolve in Spirit. And also to make this planet more peaceful, worth living and to avoid any conflict between two or more nations. He is a living example for the world to see the full potential and possibilities of human development in Spirit.  He is a Maha Purush because he has crossed all the limitations of maya or prakriti and has achieved immortality. He answers to so many people’s doubts, questions and curiosities without their even being aware of it. He helps innumerable aspirants on their journey of self-realization and shows them their future path in direct and oblique ways.

How do the yogis achieve the highest levels of Consciousness?

Each man possesses a mental body of his own. It is the energy of the kind of thoughts that dwell and are nurtured in the mind. His intellectual property, his process of thinking and the kind of thoughts nurtured are all included in the mental body. Each thought that we send out, each thought that we receive and the cumulative power of it all makes a man what he is and it this thought power to which we are attracted in some people or repelled depending on the quality of thought.

Every thought has its own vibration and wave length. The nearer it is to Super Consciousness, the higher its power.  The lower the thought, the denser the wave. The higher the consciousness of the person, the subtler the thought. Our thought waves float in the ether like sound waves. One’s mind is able to catch the wavelength of a similar thought. We should be careful in mixing with people, spiritual aspirants should try to mingle with strong, healthy and positive minds.

There are three types of power that a man possesses in his consciousness.

Ichcha Shakti or the power of one’s desire

Sankalp Shakti or thought power and

Kriya Shakti the power to do actions.

Ichcha Shakti. It is the power bestowed upon humans to initiate an act. Without this power, the force to initiate and start an action does not come into play. The stronger the desire or ichcha shakti, the more possibility for the actions to manifest.

Part B

Yesterday evening my house was flooded with moonlight in the evening. It was a day prior to Buddha Poornima which falls today on 14^th May. I wanted no artificial lights in my room because the silver, soft light was slowly falling on the floors of the rooms and it also had such a cooling impact on my mind and body. I looked at the moon several times in the sky and appreciated its coolness and freshness. Its energy was palpable and then a very resourceful idea came into my mind. I opened all the windows; I decided to meditate in the moonlight. I quickly sat down on the couch where maximum moonlight was falling and the mood and disposition itself was so contemplative and introverted. My mind was naturally very calm in this panoramic time.

Buddha Poornima and Bhagwan Buddha are so synonymous that I immediately traveled mentally to Bodh Gaya and sat under the Bodhi Tree to meditate. The swirling and rustling Peepal tree leaves were casting their magic spell already and I was soaked in every little divine vibrations coming from that spiritual place.

I felt that I was a very lucky soul to have visited Bodh Gaya and more so because correspondingly I could replicate at home what I did and experienced in Bodh Gaya. Besides, I imagined that I am sitting in that holy spot where Bhagwan Buddha must have sat there and meditated so intensely and got spiritual enlightenment. A gush of fresh spiritual energies encircled me and I felt I am really in that place even now under the moonlight. I have relived those sublime experiences a few times more at night and in the wakeful times and when I woke up at night.

However, today on 14^th May it was very different The day started with a lot of commotion, apathy by people whom I met and also unexpected unrest from neighbours. I took things as they came and handled them with serenity in spite of serious concern that the external turbulence should not weaken my good hold over inner peace which I had gathered under the moonlight the previous late evening. By afternoon and the onset of evening as the disturbing energies waned and faded. I rested and I realized that instantaneously the mind had touched the base of very deep peace again. I was waiting earnestly for this to happen. When would the flow of contradictory energies wane so that I could take my mind to the innermost levels of peace was my thought throughout. I was successful in patiently switching and co-coordinating the exit of bad energies and immediately going  back to the deep ocean of great peace inside after the tranquil  vibrations began coming in. It was only after this point that I was able to radiate the most brilliant spiritual energies and then compose a short article which would give us some new insights and messages from the holy, Divine Masters on this auspicious day.

Yesterday in the long meditation that I did in the morning, I had the great blessing and kripa of Shri Kartikeyan Swami again. He had once initiated Shri Mahavatar Babaji in Katargama into higher Kriya Science. So he is my Param, param Guru!

But before that there is something else to say too…..

Only on Sunday evening 11^th May, as I took a long walk, I incidentally happened to be very close to Ayyappa temple where Kartikeyan Swami is also worshiped. I was very thrilled to know that he had actually called me to seek his blessings.  There were no  plans to go to that temple. We reached at the most appropriate time where some drums were being played and the Aarti was being performed.

I paid my humblest, most sincere devotion, reverence and sought his benediction. He immediately conveyed, “After Babaji, from now onward I am your Guru, I will take your lessons, tell everybody that you are my good disciple and your tapasya is bearing very pleasant fruit.” I had just gone there as a mark of respectfulness and gratefulness and I got more than I ever thought I was worthy of. My heart was swaying with joy as I got the  inner benediction and also the outside spiritual atmosphere of the temple. I came home feeling very full and enlightened because I saw God’s unseen working behind all this. I only obeyed my inner guidance and got gravitated towards the temple spontaneously where Swami resides. I thanked God so many times!

During my long meditation Swami unfolded my very long spiritual journey as per his own appraisal, “From a low-set, sunken incarnation in the first life to higher and higher incarnation in every life until you have become an accomplished tapasvini, yogini, you have risen in every life. It was not in your destiny to touch such stellar heights in this life too. Your accomplishments are because of your excessively powerful thoughts and resolute of will. Everything has happened because of your power of will. And remember in future also you shall be able to accomplish all your dreams because of your strong Ichcha Shakti, and will power.
